The Ashland School Board has voted to sell Lincoln Field, a school district athletic field, to be developed into housing. The construction project is facilitated by Sunstone Housing Collaborative. However, Lincoln Field is used for multiple student sports teams and by community sports organizations and is a valuable resource to the school district. We are a group of students, families, coaches, teachers, and athletes committed to preserving Lincoln Field as a safe green space for the community of Ashland. This site is to demonstrate that:

•The board's decision does not benefit our students

•Ashland will lose a critical resource

•This project will not solve student enrollment decline

•This development will not solve Ashland's affordable housing issues
